Dr. Britta "Britt" Westbourne, MD ^[4] is a fictional character and main antagonist on the ABC soap opera General Hospital. She is the girl of supervillains, the late Cesar Faison and Dr. Liesl Obrecht.

She has been portrayed past actress Kelly Thiebaud in varying stints since 2012.

The belatedly, Det. Nathan W is her brother (information technology was revealed in 2018, that Britt and Nathan were full siblings) and Maxie Jones is her sister-in-law. It was also revealed in 2018, that she has a half-brother named Henrik Faison.

Casting and creation

Actress Kelly Thiebaud first auditioned for an unspecified contract role, merely the producers of General Hospital felt that she wasn't right for the part. However, they were impressed by her and decided to give her the part of a recurring character that they were in the process of writing, who they characterized as a "bitchy" physician. In police custody, Britt contacts her female parent and tells her that she eluded the police and that she wants to be family unit with her and Ben. On April iv, Obrecht contacts Britt and tells her where Ben is. Subsequently some thinking, Britt decides to do the right matter and tells Dante and Lulu where Ben is. On March 11, 2020, Britt returned to Port Charles and showed up at Brad's arraignment subsequently he had been arrested for stealing Michael'south baby and passing him off equally the babe he and Lucas adopted. Neil pushed Julian off of him earlier Julian blurted out publicly that he and Alexis slept together. Britt tried to talk Julian downward and suggested that they settle this in private and Felix agreed with Britt.

Afterward, Britt confronted Julian near attacking Neil like that and Julian insisted he was justified. Britt disagreed and thought he was still in beloved with Alexis. Julian claimed he was over Alexis, though he was not over what he did to her. Eventually, Britt told Julian their fun side-matter was not so fun anymore and that they were over.

On Apr 13, information technology'southward revealed that Britt left her job at GH equally she got a amend job at a hospital in Boston.

On September 11, Britt returned to Port Charles again and it was revealed that the new chairman Cyrus Renault appointed her to be the new Chief of Staff at General Hospital, much to the surprise and dismay of others.
